The HRD Minister, today, has released the new class 10th and 12th examination dates of CBSE Board timetable. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, schools and colleges are shut down, considering precautions. The economy is not the only factor that is facing the impact of the pandemic and its consequences. CBSE class 10th and 12th examinations, which were earlier scheduled in the March month, were also cancelled.
The CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) has now made an announcement today, revising the dates of the exams to be held for all 10th and 12th Class students. The board has previously stated that they are planning to hold the examination during 1st to 15th of July. However, today they came up with a schedule that was released on the official website of CBSE.
The HRD Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal, in a video message, wished all the students with luck and best wishes. He stated that keeping all the safety precautions in mind; students should prepare well for the exams. Students must not take the stress and make sure that they are making the best use of the time given to them to prepare for the exams.
The exams will be conducted across 29 main subjects. This includes the six exams for the students who are studying in the North-East Delhi region in class 10th and 12th.
The board has also released a few guidelines in detail and have asked the students to make sure that they are wearing masks. Students must also bring their own hand sanitizers when entering the examination halls. Parents are required to inform their ward about the health and hygienic practices. Social distancing is made necessary, which means that each class will have less number of students. The exam centres are responsible for taking care of anti-cheating measures and the health of the students.
The HRD minister asked the parents not to put any pressure on the students but focus on preparing them well for their exams. In an urgent press note, the HRD minister shared the dates of the examinations for class 10th and 12th.
